‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ Looks Incredible

My Mom thinks I look like Taron Edgerton. So I at least have that going for me

(FOX)

Holy, that’s a movie trailer. Seriously a lasor lasso are you kidding me? Who ever thought of that deserves a lot of praise and maybe even a raise. Comic-Con is this weekend so it’s pretty much Christmas for anyone who loves movies, because a whole lot of movie trailers are about to drop and well it started off with a bang. The Kingsman are back, and being such a big fan of the original, I was super excited to hear that Matthew Vaughn (director) and the entire cast was back!

This time they are heading across the pond after their headquarters has been blown to pieces, to meet up with their cousins, The Statesman. Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Pedro Pascal make up this band of cowboys and cowgirls. They need to work together to take down the baddie of the movie, none other than Julianne Moore herself. She’s playing Poppy, and from the looks of it, she’s going to crush this villain role. Taron Edgerton, Colin Firth, Sophie Cookson (🚀🚀🚀) and Mark Strong are all back, and I can’t wait to see the Brits and the American’s interact. Seems like the Brits are trying to take the piss out of the American’s, and that should make for some fun interactions.

The best part of the first Kingsman was just how over the top it was, especially the action. It was done in such a beautiful way, that it made for some of the coolest and more unique action sequences I’ve really ever seen in a movie. This looks no different and it seems they have upped the ante. Like I said, a friggen lasor lasso, I legit laughed out loud at that part. Just everything seems spot on with this, and I don’t think it’s really being talked about, simply because 2017 is such a jam packed movie year.

I just hope they don’t kill Channing Tatum quickly, he wasn’t really present in the trailer and that would make me upset, because I think he can flourish in a movie like this. It’s right up his alley, with the sense of humour and the action. Just think 21 Jump Street but way more over the top. So we don’t have to wait much longer to see the finished product and I’m already sold on this one. That trailer was simply amazing. Can’t wait for September.

Check ya later

  1. I’m on the fence about it. The first one made the #1 spot in the my 10 Best Movies of 2015 and it’s one of my all-time favorites. The preview looks pretty great…but I don’t know. It’s the addition of the “American” version of Kingsmen that has me skeptical, but don’t get me wrong, I’m super excited to see it! I’m also pretty happy Matthew Vaughn is back as director! He’s one of my favorites. Great post.
