Everyone remain calm. Do not panic. I already know my 2020 most anticipated movie. Good god almighty.
We all have the best days of our lives. Weddings, birthdays, vacations. When something like this comes out of left field, it makes for a pretty spectacular day. I overrating just a tad, but Jason Reitman, son of Ivan Reitman – the legendary director of the first two Ghostbusters and many more comedy classics. I had zero idea this was even in the works, I have zero idea who will be staring in the movie. None of that has been announced.
What I do know is that growing up and still to this day 1984’s Ghostbusters remains one of my all-time favourite movies. The reboot version that happened not to long ago wasn’t my cup of tea. Don’t get me wrong I loved what Paul Feig tried to accomplish it just didn’t work for me. Now you’re telling me we get the son of the guy who did the first two? Did you listen to all the music and sounds being made in that trailer. Sent a shiver down my spine.
Here’s an idea. Get Hugh Jackman in this thing, they just made a movie together, and this will make so much money. He’s got the comedic chops and obviously the action background and he doesn’t want to be Wolverine anymore. So why not attach yourself to another franchise. How about we put his best friend Ryan Reynolds. They will get great actors in this, Jason Reitman is a very talented director. This makes me so damn happy.
