Disney+ Just Unleashed A Lot.

From Buzz LightYear, to the Little Mermaid. Disney just unloaded so much content for the fans, it’s a little overwhelming to say the least.

This is not a drill! Dug is back! The worlds best dog and my favourite animated character of all time is getting his own adorable TV Show on Disney+.

But besides Dug returning and Darth Vader and about a million more characters, today Disney decided to show us what we can expect for years to come in terms of future content. Animated shows, movies, new Star Wars shows, sports documentaries, anything you can think of, Disney+ is doing it.

When it comes to Disney, there are two properties that bring the boys to the yard, and it’s Star Wars and Marvel. We got news of about half a dozen future Star Wars shows, after the immense success of Mandalorian, with even two characters getting their very own spin-off show. We got news that Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman will be directing the next big Star Wars movie, Rogue Squadron! Massive news Patty J earning the respect she deserves and she’s going from one gigantic property to another. But that was just news, the fans always want content! Enter the MCU.

Kevin Feige decided to bring the goods, announcing some new things that we can expect down the line. The man never comes unprepared and not willing to tease us a little bit. We got 3 brand new trailers for the MCU shows coming to Disney+.

WandaVision Trailer!

This show looks bonkers. Two of the more interesting characters the MCU has to offer. With by far the weirdest relationship. WandaVision is going to tackle the mental side of our characters. If it lends itself from the comics, we could see Wanda being pregnant maybe even giving birth in the show. I have no idea what to expect, I don’t even know if any of this will be real. Part of me thinks, this is what Wanda will think about after she gets snapped at the end of Infinity War. That’s just speculation, but she’s powerful enough that maybe she can shift her mind elsewhere while the snapped happened. Seeing how we know how things end with Vision and he can’t possibly be alive, he’s no long gone. This looks promising and I can’t wait.

Loki

He’s back! Everyone’s favourite MCU villain is returning. When you watched Infinity War you would of never guessed Loki was getting his own TV series. But here we are! I say that, because the thing that worries me the most about this show. The fact they are essentially erasing all of Loki’s character development from Thor 2 & 3 and what transpires in Infinity War really bothers me. He’s a fantastic character, but it was due to all of the character building and relationship he built with Thor. So how the reckon that will be interesting, it’s the same thing with Gamora actually. The show itself looks interesting, if you watch closely, was that a Black Widow cameo at one point? Owen Wilson and Tom Hiddleston look like the perfect pairing. Again, super intrigued by the premise and curious to see how they pull this one off. Get Doctor Strange to show Loki is alternative timeline and speed his ass up to date. We need him and Thor to be besties again.

Falcon & The Winter Soldier

After all these shows were announced, this was the one I was most looking forward to. After watching the Mandolrian for two seasons, it’s pretty obvious that Disney is sparing no expense when it comes to production quality and value for these shows. You can tell by just the last 15 seconds of this trailer alone. These are two terrific characters that have excellent chemistry. They kick a lot of ass so I’m expecting big things from this show and I know that it’s going to be well executed. Will we see Sam finally take up the mantle of the shield or is that something the MCU wants to have done in a movie? Only time will tell, but this promises to be a ton of fun and I’m sure both of these characters will only grow in this show and start to bare a ton more responsibility when it comes to the Avengers.

What a day folks!!!!

‘Thor Ragnarok’ Yes Please

We get a talking Hulk, need I say more?

(MARVEL)

I know that’s a really big photo, but look how AMAZING that poster is!!! I also find it hilarious that Hulk is the biggest and most obvious thing on a Thor movie poster. Well played Marvel, well played.

I regret not putting this movie on my most anticipated list back in January, because my god it looks b-e-a-utiful. Seriously though, Hulk is talking, and he doesn’t sound that stupid. This is pure awesomeness in every sense of the word. Throughout the years, Hulk has just been getting better looking with every movie, and this is by far the best Hulk to date. He even got a new hair cut, how cute. He wanted to be matching hair cut buddies with his BFF Thor.

Like Chris Hemsworth was literally born to play Thor, and even with his new hairdo, I’m all in on this. The first trailer was really good, and now Marvel drops this bomb on us and they are just getting warmed up tonight. Holy shit, this trailer is good. Thor telling Hulk about his day, is so funny, it reminds me of some 21 Jump Street type banter. So this looks like a buddy cop movie starring Thor and Hulk, like just take my money Marvel, seriously just take it all.

Calling it now, Cate Blanchett will be the first great Marvel villain, since well, Loki. Who also happens to be in this movie, and doing awesome brotherly type things with Thor. But Cate looks badass as Hela, the god of death, and I’m really excited to potentially have a Marvel movie with a fantastic villain in it. The colours in this movie are quite something, my god it’s just full of beautiful colours. Everyone seems to be having a ton of fun, and I honestly don’t know how Marvel keeps pulling it off. Thor has had the worst movies thus far, but they are really going for it this time around, and I think they have a home run on their hands. Even Tessa Thompson, who I loved in Creed, looks like she will fit right in the MCU, and will be a great addition to this franchise. November is going to be an all time stacked month with this and Justice League coming out. I know I’m more excited for Justice League, but I think this might end up being the better of the two movies. Only time will tell!

Check ya later.

Let’s Talk About That ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ Trailer

Admit it, we’ve all wanted to go into the gladiator pit with a co-worker.

(Marvel)

Are you not entertained?! Thor got a haircut and he’s going to throw down with The Hulk, need I say more. Well this was nice way to cure the Monday blues, I honestly thought they would wait to drop this trailer with the release of Guardians 2 next month, but hot damn, Easter came early.

I left Thor:Ragnarok off my most anticipated list and now I feel like kind of a jackass for doing so. This trailer was amazing, it was probably better than the first two solo Thor movies to be honest. The bright colours, and weird looking aliens definitely gives this movie a real Guardians of The Galaxy vibe and that’s not a bad thing at all. Arguably the most successful solo franchise Marvel has going for them right now, so why not kind of use that style and vibe for the newest Thor outing. Like I didn’t even recognize Cate Blanchett in the role of the movies villain Hela, she looks fantastic! Maybe just maybe she will finally break the streak of god awful villains. So fingers crossed on that one, if not we at least get to see her crush his hammer which was pretty cool too see. We even got some Goldbloom action in this, and really anything with Jeff Goldbloom is okay in my books. The guy is a legend and I hope he gets enough screen time in this.

Obviously the trailer didn’t show much, we really have no idea what the plot is or what’s really going on, but it’s a teaser so it’s meant to tease us. All we know is, Thor’s hammer gets smashed to shit, he gets a new dew and he’s going to throw down with his work buddy Hulk. Thor actually puts his helmet on in this, and we haven’t seen that since Adventures in Babysitting! I’m pumped for this movie, I almost forgot about it, but now I can’t wait for November. Which is going to be a stacked month with this and Justice League dropping. Seriously though the work friend line at the end of the trailer might be the funniest moment in the MCU so far, their throwdown should be incredible. So like I started this thing off with, I actually want Thor to drop “Are you not entertained?” in this movie, please make that happen Marvel.
