Much like a giant Thomas The Tank engine. I really didn’t know I needed a giant Hello Kitty Pez dispenser in my life until now.
Expect a lot of small things to get big, and a lot of big things to get small in the upcoming Ant-Man sequel.
Looking back at 2015’s Ant-Man the one major thing it lacked was the inclusion of Hope Van Dyke played by Evangeline Lilly. She never got to suit up in the original, but by the looks of it, could be the main focal point in the sequel. “You gave her wings?” Is uttered by Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), as he watches her fly around and take out some bad guys. Jealous of her suits superior design, The Wasp looks like a worthy addition to the MCU.
This was a very short trailer, with a lot of quick shots, reintroducing us to all the familiar faces. Very little is known about the plot, we know Walter Goggins is going to be playing the role of the villain. Hope and Scott are trying to recuse Hope’s mother, Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer) from the “Quantum realm.”
With everyone hyping up Black Panther which is slated to hit theatres in a few weeks. The social media embargo lifted last night after the premier and people are raving about it. And the much anticipated Infinity War coming out in May. Ant-Man and The Wasp is kind of flying under the radar. A small blimp on the screen if you will. But after this trailer, I think people will start to talk.
What can I say, it looks fun. Ant-Man is a really interesting and cool concept and they seem to be utilizing his strengths again. This will also be a Rom-Com, so bring your loved ones. Trick then into thinking it’s not a Super Hero movie.
Check ya later.
