New ‘Deadpool 2’ Trailer

I wanna see Van Wilder vs Wade Wilson in a rap battle so bad

Nothing like a little DP action in the morning! On a dull Thursday morning it’s nice to sit back and watch the new Deadpool trailer about 5 times, and bask in all of its glory. With recent rumours swirling about reshoots because the first test showing of this movie was met with just okay reviews. From what I see in this trailer I can’t possibly believe any of those rumours because this all looks great, even without the reshoots.

We all know that Ryan Reynolds was born the play this role, he wanted to make this franchise for as long as I can remember, so I trust in these movies almost more than any other franchise on planet Earth right now. We had a homage to Indiana Jones in the beginning, I feel a little Looper vibe in this trailer, we had it all. Plus Bill Skarsgard, also known as Pennywise The Dancing Clown. You can see him in the background of the photo above actually! Good to see him getting more roles these days, and you can never, ever go wrong with casting Terry Crews in anything.

So Deadpool needs to protect so mutant kid from Cable? I guess that’s the premise of the movie. I’m guessing that kid will have something to do with a bleak and dark future and Cable is coming back in time to put a stop to him before it’s too late. Josh Brolin looks so dope as Cable, I’m so glad we are finally getting a live action version of this character. As for the rest of the trailer, there’s not a lot going on. Dead pool doing donuts in Professor X’s chair, which will be a smash hit GIF, you heard it here first. Some cursing, a lot of heads flying off, and just a ton of good old family fun.

Deadpool 2 can’t get here soon enough, the movie looks bigger and bolder and seems to be building a pretty fantastic universe. I just hope they don’t shovel too much of that stuff down our throats and worry more about world building then telling a great story.

Check ya later.
