Zack Snyder is diving back into the zombie genre, which is good news for everyone. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, and you can count on a ton of fun and chaos to ensue.
It’s almost been 20 years since Zack Snyder released Dawn of The Dead, his first zombie movie and he’s upping the ante. What a perfect little teaser trailer for his next zombie project that’s hitting Netflix on May 21st.
Starring Dave Bautista, the movie revolves around a group of mercenaries trying to pull off the biggest heist Las Vegas has ever seen after a massive zombie outbreak. So we are getting The Walking Dead massed together with Oceans 11? That sounds simply brilliant.
The trailer is short and sweet, nothing more than a little tease. But we end up getting some pretty beautiful shots, not surprising being a Snyder film.
Prepare for pure adrenaline and utter chaos because this promises to be a wild ride.
We get our first look at the new and improved Mortal Komat movie. That promises to be an absolute blood bath. What a step up from the previous installments!
When you’re trying and reimagine this classic 90’s video game, a few things need to be checked off the list. Tons of gore, check, dope and unique character designs, check, clean and good fight choreography, check and finally Scorpion yelling out his famous words “Get Over Here” check. If you add all of those things up you get a fun and badass new look at the Mortal Kombat movie dropping very soon on HBO Max.
This isn’t going to be the Citizen Kane of video game movies, I’m sure the script will be stale and the plot might be a little over the top, but for what fans want from a true adaptation of this property, this trailer kind of had it all.
If you were going to tell me that I was going to see Jax get his arms broken off by Sub Zero today I would have said, not a chance. But, here we are and all the major players are here, except one noticeable exception who could be introduced in the film’s stinger, more on that at the end.
A little more grittier and grounded, we see our heroes are police officers this time around and they have been dealing with a few “super-powered” beings. Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee) and Jax (Mechad Brooks) are trying to figure out what it all means. Enter Cole Young (Lewis Tan) the only new character added for the movie who is the key and stepping stone to getting into the Mortal Kombat tournament.
We get a glimpse at Raiden, Kabal, Kano, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Mileena, Shang Tsung, Sub Zero, and most importantly Scorpion. I’m sure more surprises are awaiting us, but it appears that everyone will get their chance to fight, and it sure seems like no one will be holding back and punches. The gore is through the roof in this trailer and you really don’t and can’t have it any other way.
This looks like a ton of fun and something fans have wanted for a long time.
The next live-action Disney flick is on the way. This time around Emma Stone is playing everyone’s favorite dog-napper Cruella in her early days.
Cruella, more like a female Joker am I right? What an odd take on this iconic Disney villain, who seems to be losing her marbles, but boy can she dress! Whether you love Disney or not, their live-action properties have been hit and miss depending on who you ask, but they keep making them because well why not.
We get our first look at Emma Stone who has captured the essence of this character to a tee and has literally transformed herself for this role. Before deciding to kidnap some Dalmatians, it looks like she is a bank robber? If this is a heist movie starring Emma Stone has Cruella, I’m kind of on board with all of that? Alongside her is Emma Stone and Marc Strong, so again Disney has no problem bringing in A-list talent to round out the cast of the movie.
The one problem that these live-action adaptations all have in common, they all kind of just look the same? Sure the costumes and set design stand out a little bit, but every single time Disney releases one of these, they just kind of all blur and blend together.
We don’t get to see much from the trailer, but it looks like Curella is slowly going deeper into madness, and with Emma Stone behind it, this does have some potential.
Spread the love on this Valentine’s Day by sharing and streaming this epic trailer that just arrived.
Well, this is certainly the best Valentine’s Day in many years. Thank you, Zack Snyder, for delivering on this most joyous of days. We get another look at what’s to come in his 4 hour cut of Justice League that promises to be something special. Now a quick refresher, this isn’t the Justice League movie that came out in 2017 with a few extra minutes latched on, no, this is something completely new, something darker.
Let’s break down the trailer a little bit. We get our first real glimpse at all the baddies of the movie. They’re all hanging out on Apokolips where it appears that the ultimate baddie, Darkseid is giving orders to Steppenwolf to head to Earth and stir up some trouble. Everyone fell in love with Thanos and now it’s Darkseid’s turn to get some of that love because he and his Omega Beams deserve it. From there we get a few incredible voice-overs by Alfred (Jeremy Irons) who is essentially telling Bruce Wayne not to poke the bear unless he is sure that he can win. Followed up by the Pa Kent speech from Man of Steel. Snyder really pieced this trailer together perfectly.
The whole team gets their moment to shine, really showcasing how the world needs a bunch of new gods to step up and defend Earth or we are doomed. Black Suit Superman is learning how to possibly fly again, with his own rendition of the first flight sequence again from Man of Steel. Bruce Wayne has seen the future and it’s bleak and he knows that the world needs warriors to conquer the threats that are about to arrive.
Now for the motherload. A new look at the Knightmare timeline where we have Batman and the return of Jared Leto’s Joker, working together! That’s right, the Clown Prince of Crime and the Bat of Gotham will be working together. Like Joker says in the trailer, “honor is a distant memory,” meaning it’s time to put the past behind you and let’s save this planet together. I’m so happy Leto gets another chance to play this part and having him and Affleck on screen together is something fans have wanted for 5 years now.
Zack is bringing it all and this was just a small peek inside the curtain we have so much to look forward to. This will be epic.
For the love of God, we need movie theatres open so I can see this on the biggest screen humanly possible.
The epic next chapter in the cinematic Monsterverse pits two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong – with humanity caught in the balance.
It’s about to go down. The biggest throw down until Jake Paul and Connor McGregor. King Kong and Godzilla are finally going to face off against each other, mono-e-mono. The Monsterverse has been expanding since Godzilla came out in 2014 and now it’s time for these two titans to finally meet.
Two of the most iconic monsters to ever be put onto the big screen are sharing a movie together, to finally see who is the true ruler of Earth. Until something even bigger comes along I assume and they ultimately have to team up to conquer evil, but in the mean time, these two are going to kick the living shit out of each other and I’m here for it.
The trailer is impressive in stature and size and looks like Kong really grew up since the last time we saw him in Kong: Skull Island. Now a fully grown ape, he has no problem handling Godzilla and this could be anyones fight. For a movie with these two beasts they won’t be alone in the star power. Millie Bobby Brown and Kyle Chandler are returning, but Alexander Skargards, Brian Tyree Henry, Eiza Gonzalez and Rebecca Hall are all joining in on the fun. It looks like we have a Team Kong camp and a Team Godzilla camp. All coming together to put an end to this madness and hopefully save the world along the way.
This is a movie that’s meant to be seen on the biggest screen possible, with the biggest popcorn and drink you can buy.
Only one question remains. Are you Team Kong or Team Godzilla?
In a world where theatres are probably closed for the foreseeable future, have no fear, Denzel is here! January, known as the driest movie month of the entire year, but things could change. The movie landscape for right now is up on its head. Enter The Little Things.
Two cops tracking down a serial killer. One of whom is no longer a detective and the other is on the up and up. Sounds a tad familiar doesn’t it? If this trailer didn’t give you all sorts of Se7en vibes I don’t know what to tell you.
Denzel. Rami Malek and Jared Leto? This is a powerful cast, so instantly I am intrigued. Whenever Denzel plays a roll like this, it’s in the must watch category.
The trailer is creepy, Jared Leto is on another planet throughout the trailer and clearly everything isn’t as it seems. This one promises to have a great twist and if not, you can bet your ass we will be getting some knockout performances. Could be the first great movie of 2021. We shall see!
From Buzz LightYear, to the Little Mermaid. Disney just unloaded so much content for the fans, it’s a little overwhelming to say the least.
This is not a drill! Dug is back! The worlds best dog and my favourite animated character of all time is getting his own adorable TV Show on Disney+.
But besides Dug returning and Darth Vader and about a million more characters, today Disney decided to show us what we can expect for years to come in terms of future content. Animated shows, movies, new Star Wars shows, sports documentaries, anything you can think of, Disney+ is doing it.
When it comes to Disney, there are two properties that bring the boys to the yard, and it’s Star Wars and Marvel. We got news of about half a dozen future Star Wars shows, after the immense success of Mandalorian, with even two characters getting their very own spin-off show. We got news that Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman will be directing the next big Star Wars movie, Rogue Squadron! Massive news Patty J earning the respect she deserves and she’s going from one gigantic property to another. But that was just news, the fans always want content! Enter the MCU.
Kevin Feige decided to bring the goods, announcing some new things that we can expect down the line. The man never comes unprepared and not willing to tease us a little bit. We got 3 brand new trailers for the MCU shows coming to Disney+.
This show looks bonkers. Two of the more interesting characters the MCU has to offer. With by far the weirdest relationship. WandaVision is going to tackle the mental side of our characters. If it lends itself from the comics, we could see Wanda being pregnant maybe even giving birth in the show. I have no idea what to expect, I don’t even know if any of this will be real. Part of me thinks, this is what Wanda will think about after she gets snapped at the end of Infinity War. That’s just speculation, but she’s powerful enough that maybe she can shift her mind elsewhere while the snapped happened. Seeing how we know how things end with Vision and he can’t possibly be alive, he’s no long gone. This looks promising and I can’t wait.
He’s back! Everyone’s favourite MCU villain is returning. When you watched Infinity War you would of never guessed Loki was getting his own TV series. But here we are! I say that, because the thing that worries me the most about this show. The fact they are essentially erasing all of Loki’s character development from Thor 2 & 3 and what transpires in Infinity War really bothers me. He’s a fantastic character, but it was due to all of the character building and relationship he built with Thor. So how the reckon that will be interesting, it’s the same thing with Gamora actually. The show itself looks interesting, if you watch closely, was that a Black Widow cameo at one point? Owen Wilson and Tom Hiddleston look like the perfect pairing. Again, super intrigued by the premise and curious to see how they pull this one off. Get Doctor Strange to show Loki is alternative timeline and speed his ass up to date. We need him and Thor to be besties again.
Falcon & The Winter Soldier
After all these shows were announced, this was the one I was most looking forward to. After watching the Mandolrian for two seasons, it’s pretty obvious that Disney is sparing no expense when it comes to production quality and value for these shows. You can tell by just the last 15 seconds of this trailer alone. These are two terrific characters that have excellent chemistry. They kick a lot of ass so I’m expecting big things from this show and I know that it’s going to be well executed. Will we see Sam finally take up the mantle of the shield or is that something the MCU wants to have done in a movie? Only time will tell, but this promises to be a ton of fun and I’m sure both of these characters will only grow in this show and start to bare a ton more responsibility when it comes to the Avengers.
Matt Reeves and Robert Pattison have teamed up to perhaps give us one of the best comic-book movie trailers I’ve ever seen. The Batman is going to be special, and maybe the best Batman movie ever made.
I’m not going to panic, or go into over-reaction mode. But let’s have some fun with it! DCFanDome just ended and it truly ended with a bang. Matt Reeves gives a tease at what to expect from his up-coming Batman flick. What a trailer!
A couple things to note. They have only shot about 25-30% of the movie because of Covid-19. So this is impressive that we even got this much. From what we did get, we got our first look at, well, a lot. Gotham City, Commissioner Gordon played by the great Jeffery Wright. We get a look, not in his iconic green suit, well not yet, The Ridder (Paul Dano). He’s the guy taping up and murdering people. Zoe Kravitz is here as Catwoman and she looks incredible. Her and the main man himself, The Batman even share a little fight scene together. Boy, do we get along good look at all the glory that is Robert Pattison as the Batman. I even think we get a glimpse of Colin Farrell has The Penguin who is unrecognizable!
It’s his second year fighting crime in Gotham City and he’s on the hunt to find someone who is murdering citizens of Gotham. We get a real sense of his detective skills as Matt Reeves pointed out in the panel. It will be a major focal point of the movie. Which is amazing because that has never really been fleshed out in a Batman movie, and it’s something that every Batman fan has wanted to see. He’s still new to the world of being a superhero and Matt Reeves has said that Batman is still learning and making mistakes and trying to be the hero that Gotham needs. He’s dark, he’s broody and he’s beating the shit out of criminals. This is going to be so unique, but it feels so grounded at the same time. Reeves really tapped into something here and Pattinson has done wonderful things here. He’s voice is damn-near perfect. The suit is gorgeous and the batmobile is unlike anything we’ve seen yet!
I’m so excited for this film, I can’t wait to see the finished product. I want to write more and might do so later, but right now I’m going to watch this another 10 times. ENJOY!!!
It’s been a long journey, but the first official SnyderCut footage for Justice League is here and fans couldn’t be happier.
2016. That’s when Zack Snyder started shooting this movie. Isn’t that just kind of insane? That this has actually been a winding road, with so many ups and downs. The kind of trip that feels like it’s taking forever, but once you have arrived at your destination, everything that has come before it, it was all worth it. Well that’s exactly how fans are feeling right now.
The big boy above, that’s Darkseid, learn that name, and learn to fear it. That’s the big baddie of the DC universe and he’s coming for Earth and the Justice League are the only people that can stop him. Separated, they stand now chance, but united, they can accomplish anything. Yes, we got a Justice League movie in 2017, and I guess if you aren’t hardcore into movies, you wouldn’t know that there was so much drama and behind the scenes nonsense that went on, we ultimately got a version of the movie, that wasn’t even close to Zack’s original vision.
Well, here we are, at DC FanDome where they just released a new trailer for a movie that was released 3 years ago. Crazy world we live in, but this time its the right movie being promoted, and it feels just bittersweet. There’s a ton of new footage, and everything feels more Snyder. Whether you like that or not, that’s up to you. For me, I love it and I can’t wait for the 4 hour long event on HBO Max next year.
I’m sure along the way Zack like always will gift us with more trailers and surprises but until then, enjoy the trailer and be happy for the man who gets to finally see his vision come to life!
It’s a big day for movies. DC FanDome has kicked off and it started with a bang. The newest trailer for Wonder Woman 1984 is out and we finally got our first look at Kristen Wiig’s Cheetah!
What a start to a terrific day! It’s been a while since we have gotten any sort of DC movie news. But this past week has been chock-full of goodies. Yes, Wonder Woman was already supposed to come out, but things change so instead we get this brand new trailer and everything seems right in the world!
We pick up in 1984, and the world is drastically different from the last time we saw Diana Prince. It’s the 80’s and everything is much more colorful, but that doesn’t mean that all the bad is gone in the world. This time around she will be taking down both Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) and none other than her arch-nemesis The Cheetah (Kristen Wiig). I was excited about this trailer, mainly due to the fact that I knew we would be getting our first look at Cheetah in all of her glory and she didn’t disappoint. They are going toe-to-toe at the end of the trailer and it looks great! Chris Pine is back as the love interest Steve Trevor and he appears very confused and excited about the 80’s lifestyle. He’s brought back into her life under some weird circumstances and I’m sure that will come to a not so happy ending, but only time will tell. It’s bright, it’s funny and everyone seems like they are having fun. Wonder Woman is the heart and the soul of the Justice League and Gal does such a great job encompassing both of those traits.
Director Patty Jenkins is still unsure when we will see this enter theatres with everything going on with Covid-19, but expect news soon and in the meantime enjoy the trailer below!
