New ‘The Batman’ Trailer

The bat and the cat are teaming up to take down The Riddler in the newest trailer for The Batman.

Well isn’t this a lovely surprise! A new trailer has just come out of left field and it could honestly be the strongest trailer yet. Without a doubt showcasing the most from the movie, in terms of vibe and actual footage from the movie. Deep dive into the psyche of the The Riddler who seems to not only be testing Batman and Bruce Wayne mentally but physically as well.

Here’s the kicker, Riddler knows who Batman is. That is really going to make this entire movie very interesting. Riddler wants to reveal the troubled past of Bruce’s parents, something that he didn’t know was there. The dynamics between them seems interesting and intense, where the relationship between Bruce and Selina seems muddled and complex.

There’s so much to look at and appreciate with each new trailer that we see. Visuals that will have your jaw drop, and honestly Pattinson looks like he’s going to eat up this role. This whole thing just seems perfect, from the performances to Matt Reeves direction, we have an upcoming masterpiece on our hands.

I simply can not wait.

First ‘Sonic 2’ Trailer

Sonic is back and this time he’s got company.

Image

Knuckles is here folks, and he’s being voiced by none other than Idris Elba himself. I’m sorry but that’s pretty awesome, and you know what? So is this trailer.

The first Sonic movie had it’s ups and downs, from the original design of Sonic being utterly hated by the internet, to the pandemic causing problems for its release date. But here we are, it’s getting a worthy sequel and the scale is only getting bigger. Introducing a couple of his pals, Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey) and his foe turned friend Knuckles, this looks like a really good time!

The fact, that we went from such a god awful design for Sonic, to three serious home runs for everyone in the movie, is pure joy. This sequel looks bigger, funnier and at the same time for serious. Seeing how we are getting a wider scope on the Sonic mythos, I’m sure they can expect even more success at the box-office. Also Tails is very cute.

‘Winning Time’ Trailer

I never ever do TV related posts, but HBO doing a show about the Showtime Lakers, let’s rock.

A look back at one of the greatest dynasties and greatest eras in the history of the NBA is coming to HBO next year. Magic Johnson and the 80s Lakers changed the landscape of professional sports forever in more ways than one.

From the massive success on the court, and honestly off the court, the way sports were looked at towards the end of that Lakers run was almost unlike anything we had ever seen before.

So to bring this all to our living rooms is quite exciting, and since it will be handled by HBO, you can sit back and relax, knowing this is in capable hands.

With an all-star cast, showing the many egos and personalities this era had to offer, I’m super excited to see it all come to life.

New ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Trailer Is Here

This trailer unloads a lot. We have 5 villains battling it out with Spider-Man, but something tells me he’s not alone…..

Perhaps the shot of the trailer? Lizard, Electro and Sandman all ready to throw down with some Spider-Men? The hype train is real for the upcoming MCU flick, they just had a whole event for a trailer release. Most movies don’t do this, but this isn’t just another MCU movie dropping, this is something bigger….

The worst kept secret in Hollywood is Marvel trying to hide that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire are going to be suiting up once again as their respective Spider-Man. Not shown in the trailer for obvious reasons, they want this reveal to happen within the context of the movie and not in a trailer. With that being said, this trailer packs a serious punch and showcases a larger than life experience for Peter Parker and company.

We understand that Peter is tired of the world knowing he is Spider-Man, so when he turns to Dr. Strange to perform a spell to erase that memory from the world, it doesn’t go according to plan and he actually opens a door to other universes and enter some of the most famous Spider-Man villains to ever grace the big screen. From Lizard to Doctor Octopus this Peter Parker is going to have his hands full.

When he finds out after a battle with Doc Ock that all of these villains are met their match and Dr. Strange informs him that in their universe they all died fighting Spider-Man, Peter takes it upon himself to try and save everyone. Realizing he can’t and perhaps those closest to him, help always finds those who need it and behold, Andrew and Tobey!

Does Doc Ock have a change of heart? Does he end up enjoying the company of this new Peter Parker and realize he doesn’t want to be bad anymore? It seems like it. How are all these villains arcs going to play out? How are Tobey and Andrew going to come into play? My guess for Andrew, he swings it at the last second to save MJ – as we see her falling much like his Gwen Stacey in his universe. So much going on and we only have one more month to wait to find out!

‘Morbius’ Trailer Kind of Rocks

Jared Leto has gone from Joker to vampire, in the upcoming Sony that promises to be part of a larger story.

MORBIUS Trailer (2022) - YouTube

The movie that everyone forgot existed, including Jared Leto himself, is soon hitting theatres. Morbius just isn’t a household name when it comes to comic book characters and him getting his own solo flick, is kind of a big deal. They snatched up Jared Leto to play Dr. Michael Morbius, who goes from doctor on his death bed, to a powerful and blood hungry vampire.

The biggest takeaway from the trailer has to be the amount of easter eggs. From a Michael Keaton Vulture cameo, to a Spider-Man mural on a wall in the background, but the biggest egg that was dropped, when Morbius himself declares himself “Venom”. A little cringeworthy of a line, but none the less, it lets us know that this movie will probably take place in the Venom-Verse. Besides, the trailer is actually really well put together, and the movie doesn’t look half bad! Some cool visuals the cast is pretty stacked and it’s exciting to have another potential character in the Spider-Man universe.

There’s just so much going on in the trailer, it’s hard to pinpoint where the movie will fall, but I think they are cashing in all their cheques and hoping the movie is a success so they can decide who Morbius will fight next.

‘Ambulance’ Trailer

Michael Bay is all the way back and our lives just got better.

Are you kidding me with this? Sometimes you forget about a director and then BOOM, they come crashing back into your lives like a freight train from hell. This is peak Michael Bay and I’m all the way in. Two bank robbers who heist goes horribly wrong only to take control of an ambulance with Eiza Gonzalez as a paramedic. Just sign me up already.

Jake Gyllenhaal is going for it in this role. I love it, we really don’t get to see him play a bad gun, and you can tell he is having so much fun. When his buddy needs some money for a loved ones hospital bills (Yahya Abdul-Manteen) turns to the one man who always helps him out. This time around they are robbing banks, and after serving in the military, he finds himself in quite the pickle.

Not going to lie, this trailer is pretty bonkers and all over the place. The movie is called ‘Ambulance’ and that didn’t even come into play until the very end of the trailer. It just has so much going on and there are so many Bay explosions and I’m sure this is just the tip of the iceberg.

They did showcase a little too much of the film, but it being released on Netflix, that is a little understandable. But this is an adrenaline rush of a movie, my lord, the trailer just doesn’t slow down. It reminds me a little of The Town and John Q and do I really need to say more after that sentence?

New ‘The Batman’ Trailer Is Insane

When I tell you this is going to be the best comic book movie ever made, just trust me.

Image

Everyone okay? Because I sure as hell am not! What a trailer, what a day for DC fans. It was already a packed day, but they always save the best for last and they weren’t messing around.

So much to process so little time because I’m clearly watching this on a loop for the next few days. From the aesthetics, Gotham’s landscape, how amazing everyone looks, the action. Everything from this trailer was Batman perfection.

This is the movie Seven but we are inserting Batman in the lead role. I loved how they have captured The Riddler and he’s interrogating him behind glass! Clearly a giant game of cat and mouse will be going on between these two throughout the entire film.

Everyones presence is felt in this trailer. Rob and Zoe especially with them having some sort of romance going on. Alfred looks like he is rocking a cane and again Colin Ferrell as Penguin is just unrecognizable in his role! We get a tiny glimpse of Paul Dano has The Riddler, but something is off, they aren’t showing us his face yet………..

We get Batman literally walking into gunfire, like this movie is going to be special. Batman is kicking the shit out of everyone in front of him and I’m here for it.

This looks like no other Batman movie that has come before it. It’s just so beautiful

I need a cigarette……..

‘The Flash’ Movie Arrives

Two Flashes, Supergirl, and Michael Keaton is back as Batman. Haven’t heard his Batman voice in 30 years. Today is a good day.

Image

So Michael Keaton is back as Batman. Do I really need to say anything more about this movie?

So it’s been almost 30 years since Michael Keaton suited up as Batman, but life always comes full circle, and so does the DC Universe. The Flash will be running through multiple timelines, visiting multiple Batmen and trying to save the one person he loves the most, his mother.

Based loosely off The Flashpoint Paradox, where we see Barry Allen do the impossible and actually save his mother, only to see his own universe and world flipped upside down.

When he tries to clean up his own mess, it turns out, it’s harder than he thought, so obviously he turns to Batman to help him out.

This is such a small tease that it’s hard to understand everything, like why there are two Flashes, and how he gets to Keaton’s universe. Ben Affleck will also be joining in on the fun with his Batman. So this movie promises to be BIG with a ton of consequences for the DC Universe going forward.

One thing is certain, The Flash is going to change the landscape of everything and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

First Look At ‘Black Adam’

He’s been saying it for years, but the hierarchy of the DC Universe is about to change.

Image

Dwayne Johnson is about to kick the living shit out of the Shazam family. He says he was born to play Black Adam and I think this small little tease we got shows us why.

From the Nation of Kahndaq, Black Adam can rival just about anyone in the DC Universe so why not get one of Hollywoods biggest stars to play this iconic character. The post-production has just started but it’s DC Fandome so obviously we weren’t going to leave empty handed.

We get a quick tease and glimpse of Dwayne donning the epic costume and zapping some dudes into dust in a mere instance. He’s powerful and he isn’t taking any prisoners.

The clip is great and showcases the massive scale this movie will have. Introducing the fans to a bunch of new and awesome DC characters while expanding the DC Universe.

It’s too early to tell what kind of movie this will ultimately become, but from this quick peek, Dwayne is going to crush this role.

‘Scream’ Trailer Is Bloody & Bold

We are finally heading back to Woodsboro for perhaps one final rip with the Ghostface killer.

A franchise that has spanned 4 decades, seen countless murders and 4 films. The Scream franchise is going back to its roots. Ever since the first instalment haunted teens, Scream has terrorized people for years on end. While some sequels have stumbled a bit, it appears that director Matt Bettinelli is reverting back to what made this franchise special. This trailer feels like classic Scream.

The killer is always someone you know, that’s the tag-line for the next film that is brining back the powerhouse trifecta of Sidney, Dewey and Gale, perhaps this time it’s one of them, or even worse, one of them will finally bite the dust. Reinventing this franchise is hardwork, the premise of calling someone on the phone before you kill them seems so outdated, yet, they’ve made it work this entire time. Holding back on the whole meta idea of Scream, this just feels like we are back in the beginning where we will be getting a classic slash em up type of movie that promises no one is safe and the reveal of the killer will truly be rewarding.

We haven’t visited Woodsboro in over a decade and now we are back and everything is going horribly as usual. But this time it’s different. Ghostface is picking off one by one and those people happen to be related to those original victims of the Woodsboro murders.

A great young looking cast, with the help of the dream team. Scream promises to be one hell of a sequel.
